Parker Task Force College Scholarships

     The Parker Task Force Board of Directors have authorized five $1,000 annual college / post-secondary scholarships for students of current client families residing in Parker, Franktown, and Elizabeth, Colorado.

     These scholarships are designed to provide financial assistance to eligible graduating high school seniors living in the Parker Task Force (PTF) service area who are pursuing higher education or post-secondary training.  If awarded, the scholarship will be paid directly to the college or school.

Applicants must:

  • Be a PTF client or a member of a current PTF client family.
  • Have been accepted by a college or post-secondary school.
  • Be on track to graduate from high school in 2017.

Interested students will:

  • Write a letter of application.
  • Provide proof of financial need.
  • Show evidence of community service and extra curricular activity.

Also required:

  • A sealed letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or administrator who can speak to the applicantís potential for post-secondary success.

     Applications are available at Chaparral, Elizabeth, Legend and Ponderosa High School Counseling offices and at the Parker Task Force.

     All 2017 application materials will be due on or before Friday, March 31, 2017, to the Parker Task Force, 19105 Longs Way, Parker, CO 80134. Students will be notified of their selection by April 15, 2017, and award information will be provided to each studentís high school counseling department.
