Adopt-A-Family 2026

✦ Holiday Program 2026

A Little Holiday Magic for Every Family.

Through our Adopt-A-Family program, generous neighbors, like you, provide holiday gifts for local families and seniors in our community.

Our program strengthens community connections by allowing donors to directly impact real lives, creating a shared sense of generosity, care, and holiday spirit that reaches far beyond the season itself.

150+ families and seniors are adopted by members of our community each year. We thank you for your generosity in making this a special time of year for everyone in Parker, Elizabeth, and Franktown.

Our Holiday Mission

Our Adopt-a-Family program extends its mission beyond meals by bringing hope and joy to families and seniors during the holiday season.

Through this program, individuals, businesses, and community groups are matched with families or seniors who create customized wish lists based on their specific needs and wishes.

These lists may include practical items like warm clothing and household essentials, as well as special gifts that make the holidays feel truly personal and celebratory.

How it works

  1. 1
    Families and Seniors Sign Up

We have single seniors, couples, and families ranging from 2 to 7 people sign up for the program. We also remember their pets!

  2. 2
    The Wish List

Our families and seniors create a wishlist for their household and we share that with you. You are welcome to buy as much or as little from the wishlist as you like - there are no expectations to purchase every item.

  3. 3
Prep It and Drop It Off

We ask that you clearly wrap and tag all gifts for each family member and bring your gifts to the Parker Task Force on Friday, December 11th.

Ways to give this season

Sponsor a Family or Senior

To help make the holidays a little less stressful, we coordinate with individuals, families, and organizations in the community to offer our Adopt-A-Family Program to a variety of families and seniors. This program helps provide gifts to those in need during the holiday season.

It's the heart of the program — so everyone in our community gets to celebrate the holidays.

Gift Card Program

Our Tiny Tim Gift Card Program provides cards to new clients and anyone who missed Adopt-A-Family, allowing them to holiday shop for their families. Denominations of $25 or $50 work well for this program so we can evenly distribute to as many families as possible. We accept gift cards up through Christmas during open business hours.
